IS IT POSSIBLE FOR TIME TO PASS THIS QUICKLY?

I’m not sure time could be passing any more quickly for me than it currently does.

I saw this wonderful quote from Robin Williams about being kind to people and I felt sad that he is no longer with us. I remember thinking it must have been three or four years since he died, but when I looked it up, I was shocked to realize how long he had been gone.

It was seven years last month.

In fact, my lovely granddaughter Albanie will celebrate her seventh birthday at the end of October, and she was born after Williams died.

Albanie

My daughter and her children are in Tunis now, after a year of language training in D.C. and four years of duty in Guatemala. But when Williams died, they were still in Jamaica.

Time flies, as the saying goes, whether you’re having fun or not.

In August 2014, when Williams died, few people would have even imagined Donald Trump running for president, let alone being president for four years.

Instead, Trump not only ran for president and was elected, he served out his four-year term and is gone from the White House.

I’m afraid if I go to sleep, I’ll wake up an be 80 years old.
