In case the people of Pennsylvania were wondering why it was absolutely crucial to return Donald Trump to the White House, Trump himself gave them a very good reason in a speech Friday night in Harrisburg.
If Trump isn’t elected, they will change the name of the state.
Say what?
Well, there are two questions that need to be answered.
First, who are this “they” who will change the name?
Second, what will they change it to?
Of course there is a third question that totally outweighs the other two.
Is Trump a complete lunatic?
We already know he’s pretty much the closest thing to a Russian agent you can be and not be executed for treason. Saturday in Conway, S.C., he told an audience he would not come to the defense of NATO allies if Russia attacked them.
He did it with one of his famous “sir” stories that usually don’t have much truth in them.
“One of the presidents of a big country stood up and said, ‘Well, sir, if we don’t pay and we’re attacked by Russia, will you protect us?. I said, ‘You didn’t pay. You’re delinquent.’ He said, ‘Yes, let’s say that happened.’ No, I would not protect you. In fact, I would encourage them to do whatever the hell they want.”
How about that?
Of course, the media is standing up for Dementia Donnie with its constant “whataboutism” every time Joe Biden makes a mistake. Yes, he got Mexico and Egypt confused in a speech, but he sure as hell never said in Trump won, Egypt would have to change its name. Or if Putin attacked Mexico, he woud tell Russia to do whatever the hell it wants.
Yes, Biden will be 82 years old before a second term begins.
Yes, that is definitely old.
But if Biden does develop serious cognition problems, he will have good people helping him. If he needs to step aside, Vice President Kamala Harris is better than Trump or anyone he would choose to be his running mate.
If we elect Biden, America goes on.
If it’s Trump, we had better learn to speak Russian.
Even in Pennsylvania.
