Republicans just don’t seem to have any humanity anymore.
Donald Trump already eliminated the tradition of being a good loser when he refused to concede his loss in the 2020 election.
This year he basically told his minions they shouldn’t be gracious winners either.
Wednesday evening on Fox News, winning Republican candidate Harriet Hageman, who defeated Cheney in her Wyoming primary, told Sean Hannity that Cheney hadn’t had the good grace to call her and concede defeat.
Since one of the biggest complaints about Trump was that he hadn’t had the decency to concede, this looked bad.
Except that it was a lie.
Imagine that.

Cheney was intelligent enough to realize what her opponents might say, so she recorded the message she left at 8:13 p.m., just 13 minutes after the polls closed.
“Hi, Harriet, Liz Cheney calling. It’s about 8:13 on Tuesday the 16th, I’m calling to concede the election and to congratulate you on the win. Thanks.”
She forwarded the tape to a reporter at Politico, who sent it out over Twitter.
Hageman is no prize. Indeed, she’ll be a good fit with Lauren Boebert and Marjorie Taylor Greene.
Of course she’s a big-time Trump backer who insists her hero had the 2020 election stolen from him.
So of course she was going to win Wyoming.
It’s a shame she couldn’t show a little class in victory.
