The important thing to remember is that the man never apologoizes for anything.
When Donald Trump goes too far, as he seems to do more and more frequently, he never admits he made a mistake. There are usually three types of responses.
- Fake news. Someone posted it to make him look bad.
- Someone on his staff posted it, someone he hardly knows.
- It isn’t saying what you think it’s saying.
The third one was the response Monday when even his hardcore MAGA types were offended by a picture that basically said Trump was Jesus, laying healing hands on a dead man who looks oddly like former President George W. Bush.
The MAGA types, who will forgive Trump almost anything, jumped it quickly, telling their hero that they love him but he is not God.
Of course he lid and said the picture didn’t show him that way, but only as a Red Cross doctor helping the unfortunate. Of course all Red Cross doctors wear first century robes and have healing light coming out of their hands.
He’s like a serial killer who leaves less and less time between kills, and his minions — aka Republicans — are scared to death to try to rein him in.
Eventually it might take a patriotic Secret Service agent to stop him.
Strange, though. I though old Gee Dubya was stll alive.
